Congratulations to Tracy Bradford and
Nikki Campbell who were both selected in the state Vets 35s team to
play in Canberra in October.
Also, congratulations to Nicole King who was
selected in the Australian All Schools team who will travel to
Europe (16th - 31st March 2011) and will play against France,
Belgium and Holland in test matches over 15 days!! A wonderful
acheivement!
Congratulations to Jessica Fryer who was recently selected in the U/13s state team who will attend the Australian U13 Invitational Championships in Maryborough QLD, 4-9 October 2010. Best of luck Jess!!
Congratulations to Maddison Banks, Nicole King and Tegan Risk who all represented Campbelltown at the U/18s State Champs and were selected in the 2011 NSW U/18 state team to be hosted in Qld.
Congratulations to Peta Cairnduff, whose good performance at the recent Under 15 half State Championships has resulted in her gaining selection in the Under 15's State Squad. Peta will attend a High Performance camp in the July school holidays. We wish Peta good luck for state team selection.
Raby vs St Andrews - J1's Match 15/05/10
Saturday 15th May saw Raby Starfighters vs St Andrews Saints in the J1s. While Raby Starfighters had half their team away at the U/15s half state they still managed to fields a team of 9.
This was a hard fought game on
both sides. At half time the score was 0-0. Both teams worked extremely
hard and the end result was a 2-0 win for
While all these girls showed great skill on the day and all worked extremely hard for their respective teams I was more impressed to see how both teams played in the spirit of the game.
At the final whistle all the girls walked up to their friends, (no matter which team they played for) for a giggle and a chat. Great work girls , this was a great game to watch.

After an epic game and an inspirational performance by both teams there
was still no score in normal time, golden goal and drop offs. Our
Premier League grand final then progressed to penalty strokes in which
Raby took out the 2009 Premiership 4-2.
